[CRIT SERIES] :: WEATHER POLICY

Based on the volatility of the weather here in Calgary, we've come up with the following as our working policy in regards to cancellations for weather:

1. Midweek Mayhem will cancel if it is raining at 5:30 pm on race nights as per Environment Canada AND/OR any weather WARNINGS (not watches) at 5:30 pm per Environment Canada (e.g., severe lighting/thunder).

2. After 5:30 if conditions/forecast favourable, we will set up the race site but may still cancel if situation worsens after 5:30.

3. We will get our official weather information from Environment Canada (not the Weather Network as they update later than Environment Canada):

We're trying to make this as simple as possible and also with the volatility of the weather, trying not to make any early calls, rather pushing the call to the last minute as things can change so dramatically between 4:00 and 6:00.
